ECOsystems Power LED

At the enormous international Light and Controls fair in Frankfurt, Germany in April this year, Frans Plugge of ECOsystems saw the new technology Power LEDs and was keen to introduce them to New Zealand.

The ECO Power LED has been developed to provide an energy efficient alternative to the dichroic halogens often used to provide sparkle effect or light up displays and artwork. The fitting comes complete with special optics.

Features

The Power LED has been developed with aluminum based PCB material that works like a heatsink to bring heat away from the LED. Each LED requires a power supply to convert the mains supply into the low voltage LED supply. The LED fits into most existing halogen fittings for ease of installation in retrofit situations.

Benefits

The ECO Power LED is energy efficient - uses only 3W compared to a traditional halogen using 50W. It has an increased lamp life of up to 100,000 hours compared to 3,000 hours for a traditional halogen. It’s simple to install, not sensitive to vibration and has low heat emission.

Applications

Suitable for areas where display lighting is required.

ECOsystems ECO 2F2E 300 & 600 Range

The surface mounted, recessed or semi recessed, 2F2E fitting offers a high tech appearance and excellent light output. This energy efficient under veranda fitting uses fluorescent PL-L lamp technology.

Available in:
595 x 595 x195 or
295 x 295 x 1255

Features

The ECO 2F2E fitting produces the same light output as the traditional metal halide luminaire, while using 40% less energy. The lamp life of the PL-L lamp is 15,000 hours compared to 12,000 hours for a metal halide lamp. The soft start of the lamp maintains the high light output. There is no colour shift associated with the traditional metal halide lamps.

The ECO 2F2E has flicker free operation, a hinged diffuser to significantly reduce maintenance costs, a gear tray which fits directly into the traditional metal halide soffit fitting for ease of installation in retrofit situations and a 316 marine grade stainless steel body to stand up to New Zealand's harshest environment.

Applications

Suitable for areas where under veranda soffit lighting is required, this aesthetically designed fitting is ideal for a wide range of applications including fast food restaurants, petrol stations and supermarkets.

Available as complete fitting, kit or lens only. The kit can be retrofitted into existing 300 x 300 or 600 x 600 fittings.

2f-2e

ECOsystems LED Range

The ECO LED has been developed to provide an energy efficient alternative to the dichroic halogens often used to provide sparkle effect or light up displays and artwork.

Features

Comes as a pure white or colour version. A sequencer is used with the colour LED to select the colour or sequences of colours required. Each LED requires a power supply to convert the mains supply into the low voltage LED supply. The LED fits into most existing halogen fittings for ease of installation in retrofit situations.

Benefits

The ECO LED is energy efficient - uses only a 3.5W compared to a traditional halogen using 50W. It has an increased lamp life of up to 100,000 hours compared to 3,000 hours for a traditional halogen. It's simple to install, not sensitive to vibration and has low heat emission.

Applications

Suitable for areas where display lighting or colour effect is required.

Available with:

  • White or colour LED
  • White or Silver fitting
  • Small or large power supply
  • Sequencer
